Scope

  • Engineering design and supply of 2 × 10,000 BBL API-12B certified bolted steel tanks
  • Prefabrication and export of complete tank components
  • Installation supervision and quality coordination at Rimau field site
  • Integration of produced water and crude oil storage systems
  • Final QA/QC inspection, hydro-testing, and handover

Tank Specifications

Each tank was designed in accordance with API-12B and ASCE 7-05 wind standards (90 mph):

  • Dimensions: 11.8 m diameter × 7.3 m height
  • Capacity: 1,624 m³ (10,000 BBL) per tank
  • Construction: Petro Tec 12BM carbon steel panels with flat steel bottoms
  • Roof: Center-pole supported 1:12 slope roofs

Summary

JAT Asia Pacific Tank Solutions successfully supplied and supervised the installation of two 10,000-BBL API-12B certified bolted steel tanks for a water injection and crude oil storage facility in South Sumatra, Indonesia.

All tank components were pre-engineered and dimensionally verified to ensure accurate bolt alignment and fast on-site assembly.

Upon completion, both tanks successfully passed QA/QC inspection and hydro-testing, confirming compliance with all API-12B specifications and project requirements.
