Bangalore, India – E1 Water Treatment Plant
Design, Supply, and Installation of Bolted Steel Water Tanks
Location: Bangalore, India
Duration: August – October 2024

Among the key tanks installed were:
JAT Asia Pacific Tank Solutions successfully completed the design, supply, and installation of eight bolted steel tanks forming part of a large-scale water treatment plant in Bangalore, India.
The installation included a combination of dome-roof process tanks and TDR-roof fire and process water tanks, all designed and verified in accordance with AWWA D103-19 and Eurocode standards.
All tank components were prefabricated and dimensionally verified prior to dispatch, with bolt-hole layouts precisely matched for fast and accurate on-site assembly.
Installation was carried out using a mechanical jacking system, enabling safe and efficient construction with minimal crane involvement.
Each tank was fitted with galvanized ladders, safety cages, and platforms, providing secure and corrosion-resistant access for operation and maintenance.
Upon completion, all tanks underwent hydro-testing and QA/QC inspection, confirming full compliance with design and performance criteria.
The completed installation provides reliable process and fire-water storage capacity, supporting the continuous operation and safety of the water treatment plant.
This project demonstrates JAT's expertise in precision prefabrication, international-standard compliance, and efficient multi-tank assembly for water infrastructure development.
